About the Role
KSB Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a busy and well-organised hotel kitchen in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef looking for stable hours within a professional and supportive environment, working as part of an experienced team of eight chefs. This is initially a temporary position, offering stable full-time hours and a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent role.
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for à la carte service.
- Supporting busy dinner service and assisting with occasional events and functions.
- Working efficiently within a fast-paced kitchen producing around 80–100 covers per day.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
- Working with a menu based on both fresh and frozen ingredients.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth, consistent service.
Shift Details
- Immediate start available.
- 40 hours per week.
- Temporary OR Temp-to-perm contract.
- Stable weekly rota within a structured hotel kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a hotel or busy kitchen environment.
- Confident and capable in à la carte service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable, professional, and a strong team player.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
