Responsibilities

- Serve customers efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience through friendly and professional interaction.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene across all areas of the kitchen and service areas.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including taking orders, processing payments, and upselling menu items where appropriate.
- Support the team in keeping the workspace clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout shifts.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills and operate point-of-sale systems effectively.
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by providing attentive service and addressing customer needs promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely food preparation and delivery during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
