The Role
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic practitioner to join our team, as a Nursery Practitioner specifically working with children within the 3-4 year old room and with knowledge of all ages. As a successful candidate, you will:
- Act as a Key Person, providing individual care and building strong partnerships with a group of children and their families.
- Utilise your deep knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to plan and implement engaging activities.
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of all children in a nurturing environment.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years or more experience specifically working within a Pre-school Environment.
- Qualifications: A Level 3 full and relevant early years qualification.
- Skills: Strong communication, a positive attitude, and a passion for child-centred practice.
Terms & Benefits
- Hours: Variable hours between Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.
- Schedule: Primarily term-time only; the nursery closes for school-related holidays, bank holidays, and the Christmas period.
- DBS Support: We prefer candidates to be on the DBS Update Service. If required, you will have to apply for a new DBS at the employees’ expense and then we shall enrol you on the update service (at an annual cost of £16 to the employee).

Appointment to this position is strictly subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and the receipt of at least three suitable references, one of which must be from a previous childcare setting.
