About the role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and highly motivated Highways Programme Delivery Manager to oversee the effective coordination of programme delivery, financial management, business planning, performance reporting, stakeholder enquiries and operational governance across the Asset Management & Maintenance service.
This is a pivotal role that brings together teams, manages priorities, monitors delivery and ensures that residents, Members and colleagues receive a timely, professional and high-quality service.
About you
Essential:

Has excellent organisational and coordination skills.

Demonstrable experience of financial and/or budget management.

Can manage multiple priorities and competing demands effectively.

Is confident working with data, performance information and financial reports.

Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience of implementing and managing change management processes.

Can build positive working relationships across a range of teams and partners.
Desirable:

Has experience working in a complex operational environment.

Has experience within local government or the public sector

Has experience of working in a highways or transport environment
What You Don't Need

Highway engineering experience is not essential for this role. We welcome applications from candidates with strong programme management, business support, governance, performance or operational delivery backgrounds.
