Toshiba Europe Ltd have been at the forefront of research in quantum technology, particularly quantum communications and semiconductor quantum devices for the past two decades. During this time, they have made many breakthroughs, such as the first single and entangled photon LEDs, and the first GHz operation of 1550nm single photon avalanche diodes.
We are inviting applications for a Research Scientist to join our team and advance the development of solidstate quantum emitters for nextgeneration quantum technologies. The successful applicant will design, develop, and characterise quantumemitter platforms and explore their integration into photonic systems. The role requires a strong understanding of lightmatter interaction and handson experience with control of quantum emitters. Experience with spinqubit physics, including coherent control and spinphoton interfacing, is highly desirable.
