As a Security Supervisor with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations.
The Role
- Oversee security operations, maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.
- Represent ISS professionally, building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Remain vigilant, identifying and responding to security risks and suspicious activity.
- Control site access, preventing unauthorised entry and ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Maintain awareness of site activity, events and operational requirements.
- Build positive working relationships with customers, colleagues and partners.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and report hazards, incidents and breaches.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider security team.
About You
- Previous security experience within a professional environment.
- Valid front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection).
- SC clearance held, or willingness and eligibility to obtain clearance.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification, or willingness to achieve it.
- Strong IT skills, including security systems and incident reporting platforms.
- Experience managing incidents, investigations and escalation processes.
- Strong teamwork, communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to complete a relevant apprenticeship as part of ongoing development.
