Location: Queen Square Shopping Centre
Hours: 44-48 hours per week, Days, Nights and Weekends
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of Queen Square, its tenants and customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry
- Obtaining help by sounding alarms and fire alarm systems
- Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers
- Controlling traffic by directing drivers, access control and barrier control
- Flexibility to cover shifts, any sickness and covering annual leave
- Dealing with any first aid responses (if not trained, you will be put through all the training)
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Licence and First Aid certification
- A valid CCTV Licence is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- You must be flexible, willing to cover extra shifts and additional hours
- Highly motivated
