Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe working environment. Duties
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Preparing work areas by cleaning, organising, and setting up tools and supplies
- Supporting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks as required
- Moving materials within the site using manual handling techniques or basic equipment
- Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work environment
- Assisting with minor maintenance tasks or repairs when necessary
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
Qualifications
CSCS card a must
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction environment is advantageous but not essential
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the day
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour setting
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work
- A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
