Working pattern
This is a full time position with a contract of 37.5 hours per week based at our Central Office Monday through to Friday. This is a Fixed Term contract for a 12 month period to cover a period of maternity leave.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver a customer offer that supports Booths’ overall strategy and values and delivers our commercial and financial objectives. Previous buying experience is essential.
Accountabilities:
- To lead by example in delivering a high level of customer service through our warm northern welcome to every customer, internal and external each and every time
- Deliver the KPIs against the Commercial Scorecard, reviewing sales performance and amending plans to ensure that we are continually growing category sales, volume and profit.
- Know and understand the relevant retail market and the category performance within that.
- Lead range reviews through effective cross functional working to ensure timely delivery of results.
- Source, develop and manage credible and commercially viable ranges, end to end.
- Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers to maximise buying terms and create value in the supply chain.
