Your hours will be Monday - Friday working 8.00pm till 5.00am with one half hour unpaid break.
The Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Fish Picker & Packer to join our busy Fish Department at R D Johns. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing, handling, and packing high-quality fish products to meet customer orders, while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards. You will play a key role in ensuring stock is correctly prepared, stored, and ready for distribution, helping to keep our operation running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: - Picking fish products to customer requirements using touchscreen systems - Preparing and packing stock ready for distribution and night shift operations - Ensuring stock is correctly stored, rotated, and iced daily - Maintaining accurate stock levels and counts - Keeping prep and refrigerated areas clean, tidy, and safe - Maintaining correct temperature control for all products - Reporting any issues or safety concerns to management promptly
