The Procurement and Supply Chain Management function is responsible for the interface with those third-party organisations who support our business whether that be for procurement of goods and services or the relationship management that underpins any such activities. They support project delivery teams across the sectors to ensure the strategic direction is identified and delivered.

The P&SC Manager – Due Diligence and Assurance will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain due diligence, assurance and risk management processes. The role is responsible for managing the internal and external audit interface for procurement, maintaining robust governance arrangements, and driving proactive risk identification and mitigation across the supply chain. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that procurement and supply chain activities meet the highest standards of integrity, compliance and resilience.
Qualifications: Essential
A Level/BTEC Education in supply chain management, procurement, business or related filed (or equivalent experience)
Significant previous experience of working in a procurement and supply chain or supply chain risk role.
Proven experience managing supply chain assurance, due diligence and/or audit programmes in complex regulated environment
Strong understanding of governance frameworks, audit principles, and compliance standards relevant to procurement
Demonstrated experience in supply chain risk management, including risk assessment methodologies and performance tracking
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to develop actional insights
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions across functional and organisational boundaries
High attention to detail and methodical approach to process design, evidence management and reporting.
Desirable
Knowledge of Infrastructure Industry Procurement and Supply Chain Operations
Experience of working within a matrix organisation, with abilities to influence at all levels.
Experience in developing Functional KPI’s to support objectives and drive continuous improvement
Understanding procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier management
Knowledge of sustainability, modern slavery and ethical sourcing obligations
Working knowledge of ISO20400, ISO9001 and related assurance standards
Understanding of GDPR
Formal audit, assurance or risk management certification
Membership to a Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) related Professional body
