We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment, with the opportunity to contribute to a clean and welcoming environment for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and other shared facilities
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning activities
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting light equipment or supplies
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards in all areas
Pay: £12.21 per hour
