Reports To: Line Manager
Shift Pattern: 5 days a week, 1 day off mid-week, 1 day off on the weekend (alternative weekends worked).
Hours: Monday - Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm| Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm.
Rate of Pay:
Under 18 years old: £8.50
18 years – 20 years old: £10.85
Over 21 years old: £12.75
Job Purpose:
To deliver great customer service for a large department and provide support to the Departmental Head.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver great customer service to increase sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring the customer receives the correct communication regarding products.
- Help customer deliveries ensuring goods are clearly labelled and that goods are received correctly 1st time, every time.
- To help, assist, offer good advice and service to all customers in the store to the best of your ability. If you cannot help it is your responsibility to make sure someone else attends to the customer.
- Deal with customer complaints, whether they service or merchandise. Our company policy means complaints are handled promptly, courteously and objectively. If you are unable to resolve the problem refer to Department Head or Store Manager immediately.
- Ensure the department is fully stocked and clean at all times.
Staff Uniform
- Your staff uniform is worn at all times and you must ensure that it is laundered regularly and you maintain the high standard of personal hygiene and grooming that is acceptable to the Company
Health & Safety
- Ensure good, safe work practices and departmental risk assessments are demonstrated and fully adhered to.
- Report any accidents to your manager
Security
- Being alert and vigilant at all times
- Ensure all stock is appropriately tagged and stored and that correct procedures are followed throughout any sales transaction
Ad-hoc
- To carry out other duties as directed by the Department Head or Store Manager.
