HGV Class 2 Tramper Driver

New Pass Drivers are accepted after passing the in-house Drivers assessment.
Salary: £42,000 -£49,000 per year (Dependent upon hours).
Typical weekly earnings based on a 65-hour week (61.25 paid):
45 basic hours - £594.00
16.25 overtime - £228.00
5 x Meal allowance £25.00
4 x Overnights £96.00
Total before tax £943.00
This is based on a £13.20/hr basic rate, rising to £14.00/hr overtime rate, a £5/day meal allowance, a £24 overnight allowance, and a company mobile phone. You will also be paid for parking and toll expenses.
The successful candidate will be required to overnight in the vehicle Monday to Friday, delivering palletised freight to various businesses on general haulage and various contract works.
You will need a thorough understanding of drivers’ hours, along with excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the flexibility to run in on the occasional Saturday.
You will need to have a full licence, CPC, and a digital tachograph card.
