Barista – Bold Street Coffee | Spinningfields
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our Guests. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks according to company standards
- Provide excellent Guest service by taking orders and addressing Guest enquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation standards in the coffee preparation area
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Upsell additional products and promote loyalty programmes
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
- Basic maths and cash handling skills
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygienic food handling
- Willingness to support team members during busy periods
Opening Times
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
