University College London Hospitals undertakes world-class research across many specialities including cancer, neurology, stroke, rheumatology, and early phase medicine. In this role you will be a key part of facilitating this research. You will be an integral part of a team of clinical trial senior pharmacists who provide a high-quality dispensary service, thereby giving access to new, ground-breaking treatments to patients via study protocols.
This 2-year fixed term position is to support a quality improvement initiative to transition the Pharmacy Clinical Trials dispensary service to Epic (electronic health records system [EHRs]) dispensary labels, thereby directly linking prescriptions to dispensing labels, to improve patient safety and operational efficiency. The post-holder will work to deliver the Epic label project as part of a multidisciplinary team involving senior pharmacy clinical trials pharmacists and technicians, and EHRs analysts. The post-holder will also work as part of the wider clinical trials team to deliver clinical trials and provide the pharmacy input to clinical trials across all sites in a manner consistent with Good Clinical Practice requirements and other relevant guidelines.
