Essential Job Information
- The position is part time; 10 hours per week, All Year Round Monday to Friday. Evening work 5.45pm-7.45pm (although alternate hours can be discussed). Permanent.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and play spaces.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
- Cleaning skirting boards and window ledges as required
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with management to address any cleaning needs or concerns.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Having an awareness of relevant nursery policies as advised by the Manager
- Maintaining appropriate daily/weekly checklists
- Undertaking any other duties as may be required from time to time
- Locking the building securely
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is required for effective interaction with team members.
