JOINER / CARPENTER – DOMESTIC BUILDING & EXTENSIONS
Location: Great Moor, Stockport
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Fully Employed Role)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are a well-established local building and joinery company based in Great Moor, Stockport, specialising in kitchen extensions, kitchen knock-throughs, and domestic alterations.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Joiner to join our small friendly team of 12 employees.
All our work is local and carried out in domestic properties, providing customers with a fully project-managed building service from start to finish.
THE ROLE
This is a varied hands-on role for someone who enjoys all aspects of domestic joinery and working as part of a skilled building team.
The work will mainly include:
- Roofing work
- Skirting boards & architraves
- Internal doors & frames
- Windows
- General second fix joinery
- Structural timber work
- Working alongside the team installing steelwork (RSJs) as part of extension and knock-through projects
Although we fit kitchens through our dedicated kitchen fitting team, this role focuses on the building and joinery side of the projects.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experienced joiner/carpenter
- Good all-round domestic joinery skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional with customers
- Experience on domestic extensions and renovation projects preferred
- Full UK driving licence is essential
