This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest motorhome dealers. Established in 1963, Don Amott Leisure employ 75 people and sell new/used motorhomes, campervans and used caravans from our 24 Acre site at Hilton, nr Derby. We also sell parts and accessories, undertake MOT’s, service and repair leisure vehicles.
We’re looking for someone who has a proven sales record and is self-motivated, well presented and used to being focused on customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will understand the importance of using an effective sales process and treat our customers with honesty and integrity. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of products and systems will be essential and you will need excellent communication skills, flexibility, good administration skills and the ability to learn new CRM systems.
You may already have a background in Car, Motorhome or Caravan Sales but full training will be provided. You must be confident, motivated and wanting success. A strong work ethic, good IT skills and the ability to learn and work unsupervised are essential. A full UK driving licence is required (no drink drive endorsements).
Normal hours of work are a five day week; Monday to Friday 9.00am –6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am-5.00pm Sunday 11.00am-5.00pm on a rota basis and typically working two weekends in three. Two weeks a year working away at motorhome events at the NEC in Birmingham.
Basic Salary provided with £50,000 on target earnings. Potential earnings can be far greater.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the personal tastes of a customer and use this knowledge to suggest items that will increase their satisfaction.
- Present new products to a customer and answer questions about the product including its features, benefits, and prices.
- Demonstrate product features to customers.
- Recommend different products to customers depending on their requirements.
- Meet or exceed sales goals set by management.
- Provide feedback to management.
