Overview
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Gas Safe Plumber to join a professional property maintenance team supporting a prestigious residential portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair hot and cold water systems, drainage networks, sanitary ware and central heating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
- Test, commission and maintain closed-loop heating circuits and associated plant.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair works.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works, materials used and remedial actions taken.
- Manage and maintain an appropriate inventory of plumbing materials and consumables.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH requirements.
- Participate in an on-call and seasonal rota as required.
- Undertake additional duties reasonably requested by management within the scope of the role.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Plumbing (City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Gas Safe Registered.
- Unvented Hot Water Certification.
- Strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems.
- Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH requirements.
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a wider maintenance team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Own hand tools.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
