You will provide physiotherapy assessments and treatment to patients in their own homes within a small geographical area around Stanmore.
Patients are expected to include:
- Older adults with reduced mobility
- Patients requiring rehabilitation following surgery
- Patients following hip or knee replacement
- Patients requiring falls prevention, balance and strengthening rehabilitation
- Patients unable to attend a clinic due to pain, mobility or transport difficulties
- General musculoskeletal & neurological patients requiring treatment at home
Appointments will be booked within an approximate 2–3 mile radius to minimise unnecessary travel.
Each appointment will have a 60-minute diary slot, allowing approximately 45 minutes for assessment or treatment. An additional 30-minute travel buffer will automatically be placed between appointments.
Flexible Working
This is a genuinely flexible opportunity.
You will be able to provide your preferred availability for the following two weeks and choose the days and hours that suit you. Agility Physio will only book patients into the availability you have provided.
There are no fixed weekly hours and no requirement to work specific days. The role can be arranged around another job, existing clinical work or personal commitments.
Our administrative team will manage:
- Patient enquiries
- Appointment booking
- Appointment confirmations
- Payments
- Diary management
- General administrative support
You can focus on providing high-quality clinical care.
Pay
- £35 per completed initial assessment
- £30 per completed follow-up treatment session
Travel time between patients is not separately paid. However, appointments will be geographically restricted to a small area and a 30-minute travel buffer will be automatically included between visits.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- HCPC registration as a physiotherapist
- Relevant musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience
- Experience working independently with patients
- Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- The ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- The right to work in the United Kingdom
- Professional indemnity insurance covering self-employed physiotherapy work
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- A valid UK driving licence
- Appropriate vehicle insurance covering business use
- An enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one
Desirable Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Community physiotherapy
- Domiciliary or home-visit physiotherapy
- Rehabilitation of older adults
- Falls prevention and balance rehabilitation
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Hip and knee replacement rehabilitation
- Neurological or general rehabilitation
- NHS community services
- Care homes or intermediate-care services
