Established over 55 years ago, this company is a leading British manufacturer of specialist pressure and flow control valves, supplying customers across the oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and power generation sectors. Operating from its modern manufacturing facility,, the business has built an international reputation for engineering quality, reliability and precision.
Due to continued demand, they are looking to recruit a CNC Turning Operator to join their night shift team. Following an initial training period on the day shift, you will operate a range of Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines, producing high-quality, repeat-batch components. This role focuses on machine operation, changing offsets and maintaining quality standards, with no programming or editing required.
This role would suit a CNC Turner, CNC Turning Operator or CNC Machinist looking for a secure long-term position within a well-established manufacturer, where you'll work on modern machinery in a clean, organised workshop environment.
The Role:
- CNC Turner
- Producing repeat-batch precision components
- Initial training on the day shift before moving onto permanent nights
- Night Shift: Monday - Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:10am, Thursday 5:00pm - 9:00pm
The Person:
- Experience operating CNC turning machines
- No programming experience required
- Commutable to Wimborne
