Salary scale 26 - 30 (£29,471 - £33,785 per annum)

The Society of St James (SSJ) has been working in Hampshire for over 50 years, delivering high impact, person-centred, accommodation services to adults and young people experiencing homelessness, problematic substance use and mental health problems. The Impact You'll Make
The Accommodation Based Support Service (ABS) provides a range of housing related support in the community to 8 individual properties across Southampton. The service operates Monday - Friday during office hours and we are looking for a Team Leader who has management competencies and specialised skills to support staff dealing with the complex, often traumatic needs, of individuals experiencing homelessness.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a thoughtful and balanced leader with an innovative, person-centred approach to all aspects of client work. They will have good experience in managing staff and services, including understanding case management systems, health & safety requirements, risk management and experience in support services.
You will work alongside the Project Manager to support the team and be committed to providing a good quality day-to-day service with a focus on promoting harm minimisation, basic life skills and emotional support.
You will build positive working relationships and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external contacts and clients. You will be experienced in line managing staff, staff supervision, identifying training needs, inducting new staff, dynamic service risk assessment and safeguarding people at risk.
Essential: The candidate must be a driver in order to travel to different locations.
