Carden Bank Care Home is looking for a caring, confident and motivated Senior Health Care Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
This is an exciting time to join Carden Bank as the home continues to develop and improve. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about high-quality care, confident in leading shifts, and committed to making a real difference to residents’ lives.
As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of shifts, administer medication, oversee care documentation, support the care team, and help maintain high standards of person-centred care throughout the home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting the care team during shifts
- Administering medication safely and accurately
- Supporting with care plans, risk assessments and daily documentation
- Promoting dignity, independence and resident wellbeing
- Working closely with the Home Manager and wider leadership team
- Supporting and mentoring care staff within the home
- Ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times
What We’re Looking For
✔ Previous experience as a Senior Carer within a care home
✔ Medication administration experience
✔ Good communication and leadership skills
✔ Caring, reliable and professional approach
✔ Level 3 Health & Social Care preferred
✔ Flexible to work alternate weekends
