Salon Receptionist (Part-Time)

Are you a welcoming, organised professional who loves the hair and beauty industry? Olive & Orchard at South Causey Inn is hiring! Located within our beautiful countryside estate, our premier hair and beauty salon is looking for a vibrant Part-Time Receptionist. As the face of our salon, you will ensure our clients receive a five-star experience from the moment they walk through the door.
What We Offer
- Competitive Pay: £13.50 per hour.
- Hours: Part-time (24 hours per week).
- Fixed Shift Pattern:
- Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
- Monday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Key Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working in an administration or front-of-house role.
- Systems: Experience using SalonIQ booking software is highly beneficial (but not essential).
- Skills: Exceptional communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
- Attributes: A warm, friendly personality with a professional and tidy appearance.
Your Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Greet customers warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in/check-out process.
- Daily Admin: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, take bookings, and manage client queries efficiently.
- Salon Hospitality: Keep the salon clean, tidy, and welcoming, and make refreshments (like teas and coffees) for clients.
- Team Support: Assist the styling team with hair washing duties (full training will be provided).
