Delivery Driver – 3-Month Fixed Term Contract (with Permanent Potential)
Pay: £15 per hour + optional overtime
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (shift: 07:00-16:30, Mon-Fri + optional Saturday overtime)
Contract: Fixed term, 3 months, with a genuine opportunity to become permanent for the right person
We're looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our logistics team on a 3-month contract. You'll be part of a two-person crew delivering home appliances across South East England, making sure every customer gets an outstanding experience at the door.
What You’ll Do
- Drive 3.5-tonne Luton vans to deliver appliances to homes and businesses (shared driving with your colleague)
- Work closely with your delivery partner to hit around 12 drops per day
- Provide friendly, professional service at every door
- Handle appliances carefully and safely
- Support with van loading and basic warehouse duties when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Positive, customer-focused attitude
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Previous delivery experience helpful but not essential
