Job Title: Contract Manager Empty Homes (Permanent)
Hours: 37 hours per week + Out of hours callout rota
Salary: £56,778.63 (Full Time Equivalent based on 37 hours) per annum, (Plus Regular User Mileage Allowance)
Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich. / Working across core locations such as: Warrington and Cheshire.
Flexibility to work from a variety of places including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home (dependent on the job role and the needs of our customer, our organisation and our teams)

The Opportunity
Weaver Vale Housing Trust has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to commence their career with a great company. We are looking for a driven, diligent, and friendly Contract Manager Empty Homes to join our Voids team.
What Will You Do?
To lead the Trusts works management function for the delivery of all Void / empty homes works, ensuring a quality end product that meets the Trust’s Empty Homes Standard and the customer’s needs, and working cohesively with the Trust’s Lettings and Home Ownership Team.
The role will also oversee on-site resource delivering Disrepair works and initial responses to property-related incidents such as fire or flood.
Minimum Requirements For This Role*
· Relevant professional qualification
· Willingness to undertake further qualifications in areas such as health and safety and compliance
· Proven experience and excellent track record of managing multi-disciplinary trades teams and external sub-contractors to deliver programmes safely, on time, in line with budget and KPI’s.
· Ability to analyse operational costs and identify efficiencies and effectively implement changes to realise efficiencies.
· Ability to prepare and present high quality professional reports on performance delivery works.
· Good knowledge of best working health and safety practices and legislation including CDM.
· Detailed understanding of relevant building regulations, legislation, and standards.
Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license and access to a car is essential. The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
