Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Bar Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Prepare beverages following standard recipes and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to alcohol licensing laws.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and issuing receipts.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Engage with guests to create a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Assist with organising bar stock and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is a must, full training will be provided to fill any gaps
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving or working behind a bar is desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- A friendly attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are vital for success in this role.
