You will be assisting our Manager at The Shop That Must Not Be Named, a magical independent shop in the centre of York. The right candidate would have experience in both retail and supervision of a team of people.
Knowledge of Harry Potter is a plus but not a must. Availability to work weekends essential.
We expect all staff to adhere to the following points:
· Promoting high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
· Using the till responsibly to process cash and card payments.
· Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising.
· Ensuring store security.
· Processing deliveries correctly and as efficiently as possible.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be expected to:
· Support Senior Management.
· Manage staff effectively, making sure they function as an efficient team.
· Open and Close.
· Carry out staff training, inductions, and performance reviews.
· Pay attention to stock levels and customer enquiries.
Pay: £13.75 per hour
