Job Summary
Working in a factory environment based in Brandesburton, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of modular buildings. Duties include fitting flooring, boarding, walls, doors, partitions, panels, and carrying out refurbishment and finishing work to ensure each unit is completed to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out first and second fix joinery.
- Install flooring, wall panels, doors, partitions, fixtures, and fittings.
- Assemble and fit modular building components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (Modular Joiners).
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Complete work to production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Work effectively as part of the production team.
About You:
Modular Joiners – £16.48 per hour
- Previous experience in modular, workshop, or site joinery.
- Competent in first and second fix joinery.
- Able to read and work from technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Semi-Skilled Joiners – £14.75 per hour
- Previous experience in a joinery, construction, or manufacturing environment.
- Confident using hand and power tools.
- Able to assist with fitting and assembly work.
- Willing to learn and work as part of an experienced team.
Requirements
- Must have your own joinery tools.
- Own transport is preferred due to the location.
- Full PPE required (safety boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat, gloves, and safety glasses).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work Monday to Friday.
