About the Role
To support our growth plans we are seeking a commercially minded Marketing & Commercial Graduate with an interest in engineering and technical products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys marketing, customer engagement and business development, while having the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to customers.
Helping to promote products and services, identify market opportunities and support customer relationships. While this is not a design engineering role, a technical aptitude and the ability to understand engineering concepts is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging marketing content, including case studies, product literature, website content and social media communications.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Support the preparation of commercial proposals, quotations and customer presentations.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to understand products and services.
- Translate technical information into clear customer-focused messages.
- Attend customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
- Analyse market trends and sales performance to support business growth.
- Support customer relationship management activities.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Technology or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in marketing, sales and commercial development.
- Ability to understand technical and engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated, organised and keen to develop a commercial career.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of marketing, sales or customer-facing activities.
- Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing or technical industries.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Understanding of CRM systems and data analysis tools.
