Duties
- Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in new and existing structures
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve issues efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and standards
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to meet project deadlines and specifications
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experienced with power tools required for electrical installation and maintenance tasks
- Demonstrable electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring systems, circuit breakers, and control panels
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose electrical issues effectively
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry regulations
- CSCS, JIB
- time and a third over weekends
Pay: £25.00-£33.00 per hour
