What we're looking for
· A caring nature and a genuine desire to make a difference.
· Experience working at deputy level in a care home environment for older people preferred.
· Experience working within CQC guidelines and maintaining high standards of compliance.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
Education
· Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
· Appropriate levels of skill in Maths & English
· GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Language
· English
Job Description and Your Role at Chatham Waters:
In this exciting role, you will support the General Manager with all aspects of the day-to-day running of the care home from day one. You will play an important part in commissioning the home and help build a brand-new team committed to delivering outstanding care.
The focus of this role is to lead the team in creating a caring environment that provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care, meets individual needs, and promotes dignity, privacy, independence, and choice. You will supervise, monitor, and evaluate the care delivered to residents, ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met and that the high standards expected within the home are consistently maintained.
Hours and Pay
· Contracted hours: 40 hours per week
· Salary Range between £36,400 to £41,600
