We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and friendly to join the team at Wootton Library to work every Saturday from 11am to 1pm, and to help us deliver a high quality and welcoming service to a diverse range of customers.
You will be excellent at multi tasking, have a proactive approach and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to use ICT competently and securely.
You will be interacting with customers by helping them use the self service system, answering their enquiries, providing ICT and digital support as well as taking part in library activities and carrying out a range of day to day library routines.
Working in a library is an active role which involves carrying books, pushing trolleys, lifting boxes, walking and being on your feet for long periods of time.
Although the job will have a base location which is Wootton Library and a regular rota, you will be expected to work flexibly and cover at other local libraries if required.
