Alexandra's Home is recruiting an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead the registration, opening and management of our brand-new children's residential home in Redditch.
This is a unique opportunity to build a high-quality, therapeutic children's home from the ground up. You'll recruit your own team, shape the culture and deliver outstanding care, with the support of an experienced Responsible Individual who has a proven track record of achieving Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

About the Home
Our four-bedroom home will provide care for up to three children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead the Ofsted registration and opening of the home.
- Manage the day-to-day operation in line with the Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Quality Standards.
- Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Promote outstanding safeguarding and high-quality care.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
- Drive positive outcomes in education, health, emotional wellbeing and independence.
- Maintain compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Minimum two years' experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager.
- Experience opening and registering a new children's home.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
