ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will deliver high standards of cleanliness across internal and external communal areas, ensuring a safe, tidy and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You’ll follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules, respond to tasks from the on-site team, and take pride in maintaining the development’s presentation. You will work closely with the concierge and management teams to address issues promptly and professionally.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Communal areas are consistently spotless, well-presented and ready for residents throughout the day.
- Cleaning schedules are completed on time with accurate records kept for audits.
- Health and safety procedures are followed, with hazards identified and reported immediately.
- Waste and recycling areas are orderly, with collections coordinated and contamination minimised.
- You communicate clearly with the concierge and management teams, responding quickly to requests.
- Residents frequently comment on the cleanliness and overall presentation of the development.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Cleaning lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells, doors, glazing and high-touch surfaces.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of external paths, entrances, bin stores and car park areas.
- Managing waste and recycling, including moving bins for collection and keeping areas hygienic.
- Spot-checking and replenishing consumables in communal facilities.
- Following cleaning checklists and completing daily/weekly logs.
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or incidents to the on-site team.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
- Previous cleaning experience in residential blocks, hotels or commercial buildings.
- Experience using floor machines, carpet cleaners or pressure washers.
- Familiarity with COSHH and safe use of cleaning products.
- Working within a customer-focused environment with service-level expectations.
- Experience completing checklists and maintaining site standards.
