Multimodal Import Freight Operator
Offering a salary of £34,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm.

We are working with an established Freight Forwarding organisation who are looking to recruit a Multimodal Import Freight Operator to join their team.
Duties of the Multimodal Freight Operator will include:
Handling the import operations for Ocean, Air, Road and Courier shipments from start to finish.
Taking initial enquiry and making bookings with shipping lines, hauliers and airlines.
Liaising with overseas agents
Processing all freight documentation, including carrying out customs clearance declarations.
Ensuring and arranging the safe delivery of freight to final destination.
Tracking and tracing through to completing the file and passing to accounts for invoicing.
Providing support related to Freight Forwarding transactions, answering customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Responsible for any administrative duties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Freight Operators, with proven experience across multimodal operations, or experienced Operators with aspirations to become multimodal.
