You’ll be passionate about seafood and fish cookery and want to be part of a progressive team that works together to deliver the best possible hospitality to diners.
As a Head Chef, you will be working with amazing produce from some of the UK’s best suppliers, and your duties would include liaising with them to ensure all produce received is of the highest quality. You will be assisting Dan and the team in the preparation and service of food and ensuring that the highest standards are maintained and that the kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy. You will manage staff schedules, payroll, kitchen set up/break down, production and making sure prep is completed. You’ll ensure disciplinary procedures are followed when applicable and will also be responsible for training and coaching junior members of the team as well as helping inspire them.
This role is 7 shifts and approximately 40-45 hours a week, with a basic salary package of £35,000 per year, plus tronc and a performance bonus, bringing it up to the advertised pay.
About Us
The first standalone venture for husband-and-wife team Daniel and Joie Rosser, Noah’s has grown from strength to strength since its inception in May 2023.
Awarded 3rd best Fish & Chip Restaurant in the UK at the National Fish & Chip Awards, in just under 10 months of being open, the family-run restaurant has gone on to receive glowing reviews in the national press, a Good Food Guide listing and coveted ‘100 Best Local Restaurants’ accolade, an AA Rosette, Harden’s inclusion, TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice recognition, Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism awards and, most recently, a Bristol Life award for Best Restaurant.
Dan and Joie were delighted to breathe new life into this iconic Bristol venue by opening Noah’s. Having put down roots in Hotwells and wider Bristol community over the last two years, they’re continually striving to build on Noah’s hard-earned reputation as a rising star on the local and national restaurant scene.
