About the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team at Upper Grove Farm during our busy summer season. This is an 8-week temporary contract, providing extra support to help prepare our unique railway carriage accommodation to a high standard for arriving guests.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing our railway carriages between guest stays, which includes:
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and bedroom areas
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces
- Cleaning outdoor bath / spa baths
- Laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, folding and organising linens and towels
- Restocking guest supplies where required
- Helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site
What we're looking for
- A reliable, punctual and trustworthy individual
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to help during our busy season
What we offer
- Flexible daytime working hours between 09:00am and 4:00pm
- Up to 16 hours per week, with a minimum of 4 hours available
