Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial premises (offices, schools etc ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting, contributing to the upkeep of high standards of cleanliness across multiple sites.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Dust surfaces, empty bins, and replenish supplies as needed to maintain a tidy environment.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces to ensure clarity and presentation standards are met.
- Sanitize high-touch areas regularly to promote health and safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times whilst handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain a schedule of cleaning tasks to ensure all areas are serviced efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Reliable with good organisational skills and punctuality.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards in a professional environment.
