Cornucopia Home & Gift is an award-winning independent home and gift shop in the heart of Worcester. As a family-run business, we're passionate about beautiful products, exceptional customer service, and creating an inspiring shopping experience both in-store and online.
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hands-on team member to join our team. This is a varied role offering experience across retail and e-commerce.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering warm, friendly, and professional customer service
- Operating the till and assisting customers with purchases
- Pricing and merchandising new deliveries
- Carrying stock to and from the stockroom
- Picking, packing, and preparing online orders for dispatch
- Assisting with product uploads and website maintenance (full training provided)
- Helping create attractive shop displays and seasonal merchandising
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the shop and stockroom
- Supporting the team with day-to-day tasks as required
What We're Looking For
- A positive, proactive, and can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to get involved in all areas of the business
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to the responsibilities of the role
