Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and plate meals efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines diligently to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper storage of ingredients
- Support the kitchen and serving team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks with energy and precision
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Help with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
