Akara is a modern West African restaurant in Borough Yards, serving bold, flavour-led food in a relaxed, quality-driven setting. We're part of the team behind Michelin-starred Akoko. We're looking for an experienced Floor Manager to join our team.
The Role
You'll play a key role in leading service, supporting the General Manager and Restaurant Manager to deliver warm, seamless, world-class hospitality. You'll lead the front-of-house team with confidence, drive the pace of service, and build genuine connections with guests to create memorable dining experiences
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading service and setting the standard on the floor
- Looking after guests and creating memorable experiences
- Coaching and supporting the front-of-house team
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar to deliver seamless service
- Maintaining high standards of service and attention to detail

- Management experience in a busy, quality-led restaurant
- A confident, hands-on leader
- Strong guest engagement and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
