The Role
As an Industrial Managing Consultant, you will provide technical and consulting leadership across data and AI engagements within asset heavy industries. You will design modern data and AI architectures, guide delivery teams and influence client strategy, while remaining hands on with complex problem solving. The role combines deep technical expertise with commercial responsibility, stakeholder leadership and accountability for delivering measurable operational outcomes.
- Lead industrial data and AI engagements from strategy through to delivery
- Design cloud based data and AI architectures for asset intensive environments
- Apply advanced analytics and AI to improve operational performance and decision making
- Guide teams across data engineering, analytics and AI delivery
- Influence senior stakeholders through insight led recommendations
- Contribute to proposals, bids and proposition development
Requirements
Must Have
- Strong experience across data engineering, analytics and AI delivery
- Hands on capability with Python and SQL
- Experience designing cloud based data or AI architectures
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
Nice to Have
- Experience with industrial data platforms such as Cognite, C3 AI, Palantir or Hexagon
- Experience with Large Language Models or AI agents in operational contexts
- Cloud certifications on AWS or Azure
- Domain experience within asset intensive industries
