Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending practices. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff. Your ability to manage time effectively and perform basic maths will be essential in this fast-paced role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standard recipes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant environment.
- A friendly disposition with the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
