Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to customers
- Serving food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Preparing and replenishing bar supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including clearing tables and washing utensils
- Checking identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handling cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Providing friendly and attentive service to enhance customer satisfaction
- Assisting with organising reservations and managing customer flow during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Good time management to ensure timely service during peak hours
