Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our multispeciality clinic in Grimsby. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role will is for a brand new clinic so will require someone confident in dealing with premises management to help get the premises set up. There will be support offered by the Management team.
We are currently recruiting for 16 hours however, we are looking for someone who is able to increase their hours as the position requires. Our clinics are predominantly Monday - Friday however, flexibility to work over the weekend would be required on occasions.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Assist with clinic set-up including ordering stock and arranging deliveries.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Support administrative staff with various tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
Skills
- Previous experience in a reception, front-of-house, or administrative position required
- Confident using computer systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- High attention to detail, particularly when handling data entry
- Demonstrated clerical experience with data entry and record management
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
- Familiarity with general office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephony systems
Education
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language
Licence/Certification
- Driving Licence (preferred)
