About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Audit Trainee to join our team in Bingham. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is keen to start a career in audit and accountancy within a supportive professional practice environment.
You will gain hands‑on experience working with a wide range of clients while studying towards a recognised professional qualification, with full training and mentoring provided
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation
- Testing financial information and controls under supervision
- Working directly with clients and responding to basic queries
- Supporting senior team members and Audit Managers on engagements
- Building an understanding of accounting and audit standards
- Studying towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACA or ACCA)
About You:
- A degree (or predicted 2:1 or above) in any discipline
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Additional Requirements:
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers and financial data.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong desire to learn and develop professionally in audit and accounting.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong team player, dependable, and proactive.
