Due to growth and expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler to join their close-knit team. The Opportunity
As a Senior Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across a broad range of products and industries.
You'll work closely with clients, insurers and colleagues to ensure policies are arranged, administered and renewed to the highest standard, whilst providing advice and support throughout the policy lifecycle.
This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, has strong technical knowledge and takes pride in delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Preparing renewals, market presentations and policy documentation
- Negotiating terms with insurers
- Handling mid-term adjustments and general policy administration
- Providing technical advice and support to clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting Account Executives where required
- Identifying cross-selling and new business opportunities
- Attending occasional client meetings when required
About You
- Ideally minimum of 4- 5 years' commercial insurance experience
- Strong technical knowledge across commercial insurance products
- Experience handling renewals and client servicing activities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Organised, proactive and detail-oriented
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Acturis experience would be advantageous but is not essential
