Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional SIA Head Doorman to lead our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing security team, and ensuring the safety of premises and personnel. This role requires strong leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of surveillance systems, and the ability to communicate and respond effectively in emergency situations. The ideal applicant will possess relevant security experience, including leadership management and first aid certification, to maintain a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the security team to ensure efficient operation and high standards of safety.
- Control entrance and exit points
- Crowd control and conflict management
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, including emergencies, and coordinate appropriate actions.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and investigations.
- Ensure all security procedures comply with legal requirements and organisational policies.
- Provide first aid assistance when required and coordinate with emergency services if necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior security role, preferably as an SIA Head or similar position.
- Extensive knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and monitoring techniques.
- Valid SIA licence is must; first aid certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly during emergencies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clear reporting.
